Brightgrove Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Data Test Engineer to join our engineering team to ensure data quality across streaming analytics pipelines.

You will work with data validation, automation, and troubleshooting, supporting analytics from events to reporting. You will validate analytics across Web, mobile, and connected TV, build Java automation for back-end validation, and collaborate with BI, Data Architecture, and Product teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of QA, Test Engineering, Data Quality Engineering, or related experience.
• 3+ years focused on data pipelines, warehousing, or analytics validation.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Java/Spring automation for back-end validation.
• Experience building automated test/data-validation frameworks.
• Experience validating analytics across web, mobile, OTT, or connected TV platforms.
• Python or shell scripting with GCP/AWS, Airflow/Cloud Composer, MongoDB Atlas; Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Tableau/Mode, Tealium, Redshift is a plus.
• AI-assisted development/testing with Claude, Cursor, or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong debugging and communication skills in Agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Validate analytics events across Web, iOS, Android, tvOS, Roku, Fire TV, and other platforms.
• End-to-end data validation across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers using SQL and profiling.
• Build and maintain Java/Spring-based automation for backend validation.
• Expand automated regression coverage within DTE and GQE frameworks.
• Create and use Claude Skills and AI-assisted tools to improve validation and productivity.
• Develop test strategies and partner with BI, Data Architecture, Product, and Engineering to drive issues to resolution.
• Support production validation, platform rollouts, traffic ramps, and post-launch data monitoring.
