International Development Resources (IDR) seeks a QA Automation Engineer to own automated quality for an ERP platform for medical device manufacturers. You will build a robust automation framework, craft validation protocols, and ensure performance for high-volume factory workloads.

The role requires hands-on Playwright, AI tooling experience, and strong coding in TS/Python/C#. Collaboration with a senior team will drive compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 13485 in a fast-moving environment.

Formación

• 6+ years in test automation or SDET for production web apps.
• Deep hands-on Playwright with parallelization and CI/CD experience.
• AI engineering using Claude Cowork and related tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex).
• Proficient in TS, Python, or C# with production-grade standards.
• Performance/load testing with k6, Locust, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Validation experience under 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or GAMP 5.
• PostgreSQL for test data creation and verification.

The opportunity: Theteam builds an ERP platform purpose-built for medical device manufacturers, replacing legacy systems with modern user experience and practical embedded AI. They operate as a small, senior group moving rapidly across shop-floor connectivity and agentic analytics. Stepping into this role, you will take complete ownership of automated quality for a product that must satisfy both demanding manufacturing operators and strict regulatory auditors.

What you’ll own

• Build the end-to-end automation framework from scratch to serve as a strict merge and release gate.
• Establish the evaluation harness and golden datasets required to test non-deterministic AI features reliably.
• Define and execute the performance envelope for high-volume, concurrent multi-tenant factory workloads.
• Generate automated validation protocols and audit evidence that meet rigorous regulatory standards.

What we’re looking for -Must-haves

• 6+ years in test automation or SDET roles for production web applications.
• Deep hands-on Playwright expertise, including parallelization, flake diagnosis, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Agent-driven AI engineering practice using Claude Cowork as a primary tool, alongside Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
  
• Strong programming ability in TypeScript, Python, or C# with production-grade standards.
• Performance and load testing experience with k6, Locust, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Hands-on validation experience under 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or GAMP 5.
• PostgreSQL fluency for constructing, seeding, and verifying test data with SQL.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-haves

• Experience in fast-moving startup environments with weekly delivery cadences.
• Background testing enterprise SaaS in complex, data-intensive, or manufacturing domains like ERP or MES.
• Contract or schema-driven API testing using Pact or OpenAPI-driven suites.
• Experience testing systems bridging on-prem and cloud environments or ingesting from industrial hardware such as MQTT, OPC-UA, or Modbus.
