Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Data Software Engineer to build and evolve a modern enterprise data platform in a cloud-first environment. The role partners with analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, secure data solutions powering analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

Please note: 3+ years of data engineering experience with Snowflake and AWS is required to be considered for this role.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, analytics engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting production data pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms and services, preferably AWS and Snowflake.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, orchestration, and data lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with modern software delivery practices including version control, testing, CI/CD, and Agile methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot production workloads with emphasis on reliability and performance.
• Understanding governance, lineage, security, and privacy principles in enterprise environments.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support Agile team needs.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with business and technology teams to translate data needs into scalable solutions.
• Design, build, and support batch and near-real-time data pipelines and data products using Snowflake and AWS.
• Write clean, maintainable code in SQL and Python following standards and testing practices.
• Develop data transformation, modeling, and orchestration patterns to improve usability and performance.
• Strengthen platform reliability through monitoring, logging, and data quality checks.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automation, and environment management for faster, secure delivery.
• Apply governance, lineage, security, and privacy standards throughout development.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, schema changes, and data defects across environments.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate across teams to expand reusable components and mature the data platform.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
