Jobgether is seeking a mid-level Data Platform Engineer in Colombia to evolve a data and ML platform into a scalable self-service environment. You will craft deployment pipelines, IaC modules, and reusable tooling across data, backend, and infra teams for reliable services powering a global platform.

You will join an AI-enabled engineering culture with accountability and strong technical judgment, gaining ownership of platform tooling and a roadmap within six months.

Formación

• Two+ years of professional software, data, or DevOps engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for daily engineering tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Ability to analyze unfamiliar code and troubleshoot issues.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud concepts, AWS preferred.
• Willingness to work across data, backend, and infra teams.
• Comfort with AI coding assistants and reviewing generated code.
• Ownership mindset and accountability for systems you modify.
• Openness to learn new tools and techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and adapt workflows for reliable delivery.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code modules and templates.
• Apply data governance standards for new data services.
• Build reusable tooling to enable self-serve data pipelines.
• Create modules to simplify pipeline creation and reuse.
• Improve technical documentation, runbooks, and guides.
• Own data access workflows and access requests efficiently.
• Progress toward full ownership of templates and modules.
• Collaborate with data, backend, and infra teams.
• Use AI tools responsibly, review and explain code.
