BairesDev is seeking a Computer Scientist to tackle advanced algorithmic problems at massive scale in a fully remote role. You will formulate complex computational questions and design scalable, production-ready solutions that can be deployed in production environments.

The role emphasizes solving problems where no standard solution exists, working with researchers and engineers across the globe to validate and deploy impactful algorithms. Strong English and solid CS fundamentals are essential.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science or close to completion.
• Strong algorithms and data structures fundamentals.
• Excellent problem-solving and sound engineering judgment.
• Strong programming skills with Python preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build production-quality software.
• Ability to reason about scalability and performance tradeoffs.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement algorithms for inference, ranking, matching, classification, and prediction problems.
• Create scalable heuristics operating on datasets with hundreds of millions of records.
• Analyze computational complexity and optimize systems for large-scale execution.
• Design evaluation methodologies and validation frameworks to measure solution quality.
• Transform ambiguous business requirements into well-defined computational problems.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to productionize algorithms and experiments.
