Job Duck, LLC in Colombia seeks a bilingual Litigation Paralegal to support a busy personal injury and litigation practice. You will work closely with attorneys to move active matters forward, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain accurate case files in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift. Experience with civil procedure and drafting litigation documents is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant in a litigation setting.
• Experience supporting active litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and litigation processes.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate case notes, records and litigation documentation.
• Coordinate with opposing counsel and paralegals on scheduling and documents.
• Review Rules of Civil Procedure and ensure tasks meet requirements.
• Manage litigation calendars: depositions, hearings, deadlines and dates.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up on pending tasks.
• Review case information for accuracy and deadline compliance.
• Assist attorneys to progress litigation matters efficiently.
• Prepare and organize litigation files and documents.
• Anticipate next steps and act independently in active matters.
• Identify upcoming tasks and prepare documents in advance.
• Follow up on discovery and other case requirements.
• Communicate with clients to obtain detailed, accurate information.
• Assist with discovery preparation and document gathering.
• Draft petitions, pleadings, disclosures, and discovery requests/responses.
• Handle confidential client information with discretion.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals and case managers to support progression.
