Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions in cloud environments. You will build robust pipelines, support BI, ML, and AI initiatives, and collaborate with data science teams to prepare data for analytical models.

The role requires strong Python, PySpark, SQL skills and deep experience with Azure data services. Eligible for remote work within Colombia with a global tech focus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience with Python and PySpark.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing in Azure.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and observability practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Build ETL/ELT processes using Python, PySpark, SQL, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Implement data governance, monitoring, and observability standards.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to prepare, transform, and make data available for analytical models.
• Participate in ML/AI initiatives and forecasting/predictive analytics pipelines.
• Automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and monitor production data jobs.
