Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, seeks an experienced Software Architect to join our expanding team from Colombia. You will design low-latency, secure, multi-tenant architectures on AWS and mentor engineers across projects.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of software development with 3+ years in architecture, strong PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and RESTful APIs expertise, and a proven ability to produce ADRs and architecture docs while aligning with client reviews.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience; 3+ years in architecture-focused role
• Design low-latency AWS architectures with distributed components
• Design for latency budgets (p95/p99) including durable commits
• Design audit/evidence systems: append-only logs, versioned models, replay
• Architecture fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state postures
• Secure multi-tenant architectures with tradeoffs (RLS vs. tenant models)
• Deep PostgreSQL/AuroraDB with RLS
• Build scalable RESTful APIs
• SDK integrations with other services
• Lead architecture reviews; mentor teams; produce ADRs
• Present architecture decisions in client reviews
• Experience with AI coding assistants
• End-to-end large-scale systems
• Overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
