This is a remote Contract/Consultant position.

Working hours are 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Job Description:

The Analytics Analyst will analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide insights to support business strategies. This role requires expertise in data science, handling big data, and using analytical tools. Collaboration with departments like financial planning and analytics is essential to promote data-driven decision-making.

Essential Functions:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns informing business decisions.
• Manage and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring quality and consistency. Use big data tools to analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Support the development of comprehensive reporting systems across the organization.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by the Business Analytics Manager.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data science preferred.
• Advanced skills in Excel and SQL.
• Expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and data science techniques.
• Strong background in software development, with experience in big data tools.
• Banking industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Own a personal laptop or desktop (company does not supply equipment).
