Blacksmith Agency is seeking an AI Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role; you will not be training models, but you will be building production systems on top of them.

You have built with LLMs and can demonstrate real results, integrating LangChain or LangGraph, and APIs from OpenAI or Anthropic, plus REST APIs, webhooks, and cloud deployment.

Formación

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilidades

• Own and ship the internal automation roadmap.
• Build production systems on top of LLMs; not training models.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery leadership to turn a documented roadmap into shipped workflows.
• Develop agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Create integrations with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and internal tools.
