Medallo.dev in Medellín is seeking a QA tester to ensure our B2B applications work for every user, role, and dataset. You will own test plans and suites, test complex permission models, and report clearly to English-speaking clients.

The role is full-time and hybrid, with one day a week at our Medellín coworking space. The candidate will collaborate with engineers to verify fixes, perform regression testing, and communicate risks and release readiness to clients.

Formación

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with experience designing and executing test strategies.
• Experience with testing in B2B / Enterprise applications
• Familiarity with software testing tools (manual and automated), test case management, and defect tracking systems like Jira.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document findings in a structured way.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Professional proficiency in English (CEFR B2 or C1) and Spanish is highly beneficial for client and team communication.

Responsabilidades

• Build and manage test suites and test cases, and keep them current as the product changes
• Test data-intensive workflows: imports, exports, reports, filters, and large or messy datasets
• Verify role-based access across multiple user types so each role sees and does only what it should
• Report bugs with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and evidence
• Work with engineers to verify fixes and run regression testing before each release
• Communicate test status, risks, and release readiness to English-speaking clients
• Join the team in person one day a week at our Medellín coworking space

Compensation is up to COP 8,000,000 per month depending on experience, with 15 days of paid vacation per year.
