Job summary

CPL Colombia is seeking a QHSE Coordinator to support daily Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental activities at our manufacturing site. You will coordinate inspections, trainings, incident follow-ups, audits and KPI reporting, working with all departments and contractors to promote safety and compliance.

The role requires a degree in OH&S or a related field, relevant QHSE experience, knowledge of ISO standards, and fluency in Spanish with good English.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Valid OH&S registration and licence.
• At least 3 years of QHSE experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, inspections and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Height safety certification under Resolution 4272.
• Knowledge of Colombian safety and environmental regulations.
• B1 English level and fluency in Spanish.
• MS 365 proficiency.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• On-site availability.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the site’s QHSE management systems.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, monitor legal requirements, and support audits.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and follow-up corrective actions.
• Coordinate QHSE inductions, training sessions, safety talks, drills, PPE delivery, and contractor compliance.
• Support incident investigations, reporting, and return-to-work processes.
• Monitor environmental controls and collect data on waste, water, energy, and emissions.
• Escalate serious incidents and regulatory issues to the Safety & Sustainability Manager.
