GEA Group in Colombia is seeking a QHSE Analyst to implement the QHSE strategy and annual plan, ensuring compliance with local legislation and customer requirements while collaborating with local managers and contractors to minimize risks and prevent incidents.

You will plan training, perform investigations, manage documentation, monitor KPIs, and ensure facilities meet safety rules across workshops and sites.

Formación

• HSE education or technical QSHE background with Health and Safety license required.
• At least 3 years of practical QSHE experience in industrial companies with safety-related training.
• 3+ years of experience working as a QHSE Analyst.
• English level B1+.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and execute QHSE activities defined in the strategy and Annual Working Plan.
• Ensure safety and environmental measures during project/service execution (workshop or customer site).
• Plan and provide QHSE training, onboardings, safety talks and awareness journeys for GEAs employees, newcomers or contractors.
• Perform or support accident investigations.
• Ensure implementation of GEAs safety core rules and requirements on customer sites.
• Execute inspections and audits at GEAs offices, workshops, projects and customer sites.
• Develop and implement local QHSE management system and related records.
• Plan and execute maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Provide EPPs/EPIs delivery and administration.
• Develop and update safety procedures and rules.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors on HSE matters.
• Update the legal requirements matrix and ensure proper compliance.
• Report monthly QHSE KPIs and support regional QHSE authorities.
• Provide HSE support with business unit managers.
• Ensure facilities comply with corporate, customer, local and QSHE requirements.
• Communicate lessons learned internally and externally for improvements.
• Maintain a proactive risk-based approach to HSE.
• Coordinate local HSE requirements such as first aid, health monitoring, fire protection, PPE.
• Coordinate safety measures with all functions.
• Elaborate hazard/risk assessments and define control measures.
• Manage hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collaborate with authorities and institutions on QSHE topics.
• Follow up on Nonconformance/Corrective Actions and KPIs.

The QHSE Analyst will implement and execute all activities defined in the QHSE strategy and within the QHSE annual plan according to defined budget and looking forward to compliance with local legislation, customer requirements and GEA QHSE Policies. This position will work in close collaboration with local managers and individual contributors to minimize risks and to avoid accidents.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Implement and execute QHSE activities defined at QHSE strategy and Annual Working Plan.

• Ensure application of safety and environmental measures during project/service execution (at the workshop or at customer site).

• Plan and provide QHSE training, onboardings, safety talks and/or awareness journeys to GEAs employees, newcomers or contractors.

• Perform or support Accident Investigations.

• Ensure implementation of all GEAs Safety core rules and requirements enforced on customer sites.

• Execute inspections and audits at GEAs offices and workshops, projects and/or customer sites.

• Further development and implementation of local QHSE management system and storage records related to QHSE programs and management system implementation.

• Plan and execute maintenance and calibration schedule.

• EPPs or EPIs delivery and administration.

• Develop and update safety procedures and rules.

• Supervise contractors and subcontractors on HSE matters.

• Update the legal requirements matrix and analyze it for proper compliance.

• Report monthly QHSE KPIs

• Support local managers, projects execution and regional QHSE responsible in all matters of Occupational Health and Safety

• Provide HSE Support with business unit managers.

• Ensure that the facilities are compliant with corporate, customers, local and legal QSHE requirements.

• Internal and external communication of lessons learned and improvements.

• Maintain a risk-oriented approach with comprehensive and proactive actions regarding HSE.

• Installation, organization and maintenance of appropriate local HSE requirements such as first aid, health monitoring, fire protection, PPE etc.

• Coordination of safety measures with all functional units.

• Elaborate hazard/risk assessments and definition of control measures.

• Assures appropriate hazardous materials management.

• Cooperation with various authorities and institutions in subjects regarding QHSE.

• Follow up on Nonconformance/Corrective Actions and key performance indicators.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• HSE education or other technical education with substantial QSHE background (Health and Safety license is required).

• The candidate must have practical experience of at least 3 years in related QSHE activities for industrial companies and must have successfully conducted a course or training for safety-related

• 3+ years of experience working as an QHSE Analyst.

• B1+ English.
