Avient Corporation in Colombia seeks an operator to set up, operate and monitor equipment for blending, packaging and transporting liquids or dry chemicals. You will ensure quality and efficiency while meeting safety standards and company policies.

The role requires precise ingredient handling, data entry, and adherence to procedures. You will participate in training, perform routine cleaning, and assist with process improvements while maintaining logs and reports.

Responsabilités

• Sets up, starts and runs all machinery, checking controls for adherence to operating procedures and ISO standards.
• Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specifications and ensures correct materials are fed to machinery.
• Monitors production and equipment for safe, efficient operation; troubleshoots issues as they arise.
• Operates machinery to mix, extrude or discharge materials per operating procedures.
• Inspects materials to ensure conformance with established standards.
• Collects samples for lab evaluation and communicates batch adjustments if needed.
• Refer issues to Production Lead or Supervisor for disposition.
• Performs all required machine cleaning.
• Completes system inputs/transactions with data integrity; documents work and logs.
• Participates in training and continual improvement processes.
• Follows safety rules and maintains housekeeping standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
