Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Product Operations Intern to join our Rewards team. You’ll help ensure the receipt scanning experience is accurate, fair, and resistant to abuse, working closely with product, engineering, design, and data teams.

You will analyze real-world submissions, identify edge cases, and translate findings into actionable improvements for the extraction and validation processes. A strong bias for detail and experience with AI tools are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Interest in consumer fintech, rewards, loyalty, or large-scale product operation.
• Experience with internships, projects, or activities related to operations, product, fintech, data analysis, trust & safety, or startups is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day quality of receipt scanning submissions and apply validation decisions.
• Identify edge cases, document them clearly for scale, and propose improvements to extraction and validation logic.
• Provide actionable feedback to engineering with bug reports and reproducible examples.
