BraveUS in Bogotá is seeking a Procurement Specialist to own end-to-end purchasing for internal teams, from needs identification to supplier onboarding and order execution. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and compliance with financial controls.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years' procurement experience, a Bachelor’s in a related field, strong Excel skills, and advanced English (C1).

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for internal departments, including issuing purchase orders and receiving goods/services.
• Engage with requesters to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with internal specifications.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery timelines, and discounts with vendors.
• Perform order follow-ups and ensure proper documentation and invoice reconciliation.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including onboarding and database updates.
• Organize and participate in supplier meetings to review performance and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely procurement reporting.
• Perform other duties related to or complementary to the position, as assigned by the employer or immediate supervisor.

About the Role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle of purchasing activities, including identifying needs, evaluating options, and securing the best value in goods and services. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement, accurate order fulfillment, and alignment with financial controls. The role also involves supplier relationship management, negotiation, and data tracking to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in procurement or purchasing roles.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience with procurement systems or ERP platforms is an asset.

Advanced English proficiency, both verbal and written (C1)
