About Us:

We are an innovative precast concrete start-up located in Buena Vista, Colorado, driven by a mission to build smarter, faster, and more sustainable construction solutions. We specialize in fabricating innovative precast products for residential and commercial applications. As a hands-on, entrepreneurial team, we’re looking for a leader who’s ready to help scale a modern manufacturing operation from the ground up.

Position Summary:

As Project Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of our precast concrete products from concept through production. You'll bring a deep understanding of structural systems, materials, and building codes to craft practical and visually compelling solutions. This is a foundational role with room to grow as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design structural and architectural precast components for residential and commercial projects.
• Create detailed drawings, layouts, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
• Perform structural analysis and coordinate with external engineering consultants as needed.
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain product specifications, submittals, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (ACI, PCI, IBC) and industry standards.
• Innovate new systems or processes to reduce costs and improve performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of structural or precast concrete design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools.
• Familiarity with PCI and ACI design standards and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of material behavior, load paths, and constructability.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for design innovation.

Preferred Certifications:

• PE license (or on track to obtain).
• PCI certifications.
• Competitive Base Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 per year, depending on experience and licensure.
