Job summary

CrowdGen is seeking Independent Contractors for Project Lupin to transcribe and annotate audio data for AI-powered speech recognition models. You will work remotely on a flexible schedule, earning by audio hour with scalable earnings based on output.

Your role includes verbatim transcription with timestamps, speaker labeling for multi-person conversations, and annotation of non-speech events, all motivated by improving voice AI technology.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Polish including familiarity with regional accents and informal speech.

Project Lupin aims to help improve AI-powered speech recognition models

In this project, participants contribute by checking and modifying the audio segmentation and transcription. The transcriptions generated will contribute to the development of improved AI-powered speech recognition models.

Task Summary

You will listen to real audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcripts — capturing not just what was said, but how it was said. That means every “uh,” every repeated word, and every trailing sentence matters. Your work will include:

• Verbatim transcription with a target of 98%+ accuracy
• Timestamping segments with less than 500ms deviation
• Speaker labeling for conversations with 2 to 8 participants
• Event annotation for non-speech elements (e.g., laughter, background noise, unintelligible audio)

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Polish including familiarity with regional accents and informal speech
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce verbatim transcriptions, including stutters, repetitions, and filler words.
• Experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is an advantage.
• Comfortable using browser-based tools (training will be provided).
• Reliable internet connection.
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer (mobile devices are not supported).
• Reliable availability for minimum 10+ hours per week.

This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. $55 - $55 an hour

Payments for the project will be made based on the number of audio hours that you transcribe.

• Earn $55.00 per audio hour – the more you work, the more you make!
• Complete 1 audio hour of transcription for every 5 hours you work – making the most of your time.
• Work a minimum 10 hours a week – perfect for a flexible earning option

Potential Weekly Earnings Breakdown:

• $55.00 per audio hour
• 0.2 audio hours/hour × 10 hours/week = 2.0 audio hours/week
• 2.0 audio hours × $55.00 = $110.00/week

Earn $110. weekly with minimum 10 hours of work. More hours = higher earnings.
