Loxo is seeking a Playable Game Developer to turn creative briefs into polished interactive experiences. You will own projects from concept to delivery, shipping across web platforms and other devices.

This role emphasizes AI-oriented development, prototyping, and rapid iteration in a fast-growing startup. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of game development, familiarity with Unity or similar frameworks, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• : 1+ year of professional experience in game development or highly interactive experiences.
• Experience shipping complete games or interactive experiences, not only prototypes
• Strong experience with Unity and/or another game development framework
• Ability to independently take ownership of projects from concept through implementation and delivery
• Strong understanding of game mechanics, player experience, UI, interaction, and polish
• Strong interest in AI and AI-assisted development
• Experience using AI tools for coding, content creation, prototyping, or development workflows
• Ability to review, debug, improve, and explain AI-generated code or content
• Comfortable working in existing codebases and using Git
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build and ship interactive games and playable experiences across web and other platforms
• Turn creative concepts and advertiser briefs into playable experiences from concept to production
• Develop game mechanics, interactions, UI, onboarding, feedback systems, and player experiences
• Work with AI coding and creative tools to accelerate development and content production
• Explore and implement AI-assisted workflows for coding, prototyping, assets, animation, audio, and iteration
• Create reusable systems that allow games, themes, mechanics, and content to be adapted efficiently
• Integrate and optimize visual and audio assets
• Test and optimize experiences across different devices and platforms
• Debug performance, rendering, loading, memory, input, and other technical issues
• Work within an existing codebase using Git and contribute improvements to shared development foundations
• Communicate technical decisions, progress, and blockers clearly in English
