Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure Customer Engineering and Support team. You will design, deploy, and troubleshoot OpenStack/OpenShift environments and collaborate with developers to bridge infrastructure and software.

Key focus areas include containerized platforms, automation scripting, incident resolution, and RCAs to prevent recurrence. You will work within a global team, staying updated on cloud and containerization best practices.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of core networking principles (TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, firewalls) in a cloud environment.
• Solid Python scripting skills for automation and system management; Bash/Python proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, configure, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized apps and infra on Kubernetes, OpenShift, and OpenStack.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust automation scripts using Python and Ansible.
• Lead investigation and resolution of high-severity customer incidents.
• Identify root causes and implement durable solutions.
• Prepare and conduct comprehensive RCAs to prevent recurrence.
• Stay current with industry best practices in cloud and containerization.
