AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Platform Engineer in Manizales, Colombia to design and scale core infrastructure.

You will build reliable platform services, manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to keep systems secure and performant. You will work on distributed architectures, AI-native tooling, and modern service-mriendly pipelines, contributing to security and operational excellence while communicating with senior leadership on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes; including service mesh technologies like Istio, Linkerd, or Cilium.
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, or federated/polyglot persistence.
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to learn quickly, and ownership mindset.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works closely with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native tooling matters here.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform services to support company growth.

MUST HAVES
