Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Platform Architect to design, operate, and continuously improve our cloud platform.

This largely individual contributor role collaborates with one other team member and customer stakeholders to own VDI/EUC projects across AWS, Azure, and GCP, scaling infrastructure with Terraform and active AI-assisted tooling. You will lead end-to-end lifecycle management, implement remote state via HCP, and advance CI/CD using GitHub Actions while driving automation and platform

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud-native development.
• Senior/Lead/Owner-level experience.
• Proven VDI/EUC platform experience.
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC management.
• Fluent English communication (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cloud platform architecture to meet business needs.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle: provisioning, upgrades, decommissioning, drift detection.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and manage remote state via HCP.
• Architect, deploy and support VDI/EUC solutions on major platforms.
• Build CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions; streamline deployments.
• Apply AI coding assistants to accelerate IaC authoring and automation tasks.

Job description

We are seeking a Platform Architect to design, operate, and continuously improve the cloud platform. This is a primarily individual contributor role that requires strong ownership and the ability to work independently while collaborating with one other team member and customer stakeholders. We are looking for strong Cloud VDI / End-User Computing (EUC) experience on any major hyperscaler or enterprise VDI stack, such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware/Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Amazon WorkSpaces, or Workspot.
