Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior People Location Lead in Bogotá to own the local People strategy, bridging global and regional agendas with local execution. This role advises location leadership and coordinates cross-functional HR initiatives.

You will analyze engagement, attrition, and performance metrics, shaping action plans with leadership while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and EPAM policies. Strong communication and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading at regional/location level on complex People projects.
• Strong HR, labor law, and compliance knowledge.
• Track record of coaching and developing people leaders.
• Experience engaging with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Advanced English (C1) and familiarity with EPAM processes and AI fundamentals are a plus.

People Location Lead

Senior People partner for an EPAM location — owning the local People strategy, bridging the global/regional agenda with local execution, and acting as the trusted advisor and escalation point for location leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the location's leadership team, bringing a People perspective to decisions and the local agenda
• Lead and coordinate local People initiatives, aligned with the regional model and business priorities
• Analyze location metrics (engagement, attrition, performance) and co-define action plans with leadership
• Adapt and implement People programs, processes, and policies to the local context
• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and corporate policies
• Act as escalation point for critical employee matters (conflicts, sensitive cases, compliance)
• Monitor organizational health and raise timely risk alerts to leadership
• Connect global/regional People teams with local reality, ensuring execution and feedback
• Co-define location-specific initiatives to improve performance, culture, and employee experience

Requirements

• Proven experience operating autonomously at regional/location level, managing complex, cross-functional People projects and change
• Strong grasp of HR practices, labor law, and compliance, with the judgment to bridge global strategy and local context
• Experience managing large or multiple teams, with a track record of coaching and developing people leaders
• Comfort engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions that affect satisfaction and outcomes
• Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and communication/emotional intelligence skills (Advanced–Expert level)
• Advanced English (C1) and familiarity with EPAM people-management processes and AI fundamentals are a plus
