The Red Hat Consulting team is seeking an OpenShift Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in Kubernetes platforms and virtualization to lead pre-sales and delivery engagements in Colombia. You will guide customers through infrastructure transformation, architecture design, and modernization of datacenters using OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, and automation practices.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, consulting, or platform engineering.
• Proven pre-sales or customer-facing experience with complex solution sales cycles.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Hands-on virtualization experience (VMware, KVM) and migration strategies.
• Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or similar approaches to VM modernization.
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking).
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and IaC practices.
• Strong communication and executive storytelling skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Red Hat certifications are a plus.

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an OpenShift Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in Kubernetes platforms and virtualization technologies. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical leader across both pre-sales and delivery, helping customers define and implement their infrastructure transformation journey.

You will engage early in the sales cycle to understand customer needs, shape solutions, and support proposals.

During delivery, you will lead the architecture and implementation of OpenShift-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.

By leveraging Red Hat OpenShift, hybrid cloud, and automation practices, you will help customers consolidate infrastructure, modernize datacenters, and adopt a unified platform for VMs and containers

What You Will Do

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles, supporting complex solution sales cycles
• Strong expertise in Red OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and migration strategies
• Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or similar approaches to VM modernization
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and IaC practices
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and architectures
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Red Hat certifications are a plus
