Job summary

Nordicrecruiters in Bogotá seeks a hands-on Handyman to join an on-site maintenance team. You will support facility upkeep, minor repairs, and equipment maintenance in a dynamic, international environment.

The role requires Spanish fluency, 2+ years in maintenance or related fields, and experience with plumbing/electrical tasks. A valid driver’s license and ability to rotate 12-hour shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish (written and spoken) to communicate on-site.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance, facilities, or technical support roles.
• Proven ability with plumbing and electrical systems; comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving attitude; able to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver's license; availability to work rotational 12-hour day/night shifts.
• Experience (or certification) in HVAC or air-conditioning maintenance is a plus; height-work certification also advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, patching, cleaning, and basic facility repairs.
• Handle minor repairs on machinery, appliances, and company equipment when needed.
• Regularly inspect facilities and common areas to detect mechanical issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness problems.
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical and general repair tasks following safety standards.
