AECOM is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to support planning, design, and delivery of acoustic and noise control solutions for building and infrastructure projects in Bogota. The role involves calculations, modeling, environmental noise and vibration assessments, architectural acoustics, and electroacoustic system design.

You will prepare technical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliant, technically sound solutions within project schedules and budgets.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Acoustic Engineering or Sound Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in acoustic and vibration engineering, including noise control and technical documentation.
• Experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred.
• Experience coordinating with multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Perform acoustic calculations, modeling, and analysis for building and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct environmental noise assessments, including noise mapping.
• Design and evaluate noise control solutions (barriers, enclosures, silencers, acoustic treatments).
• Perform vibration assessments and support vibration control and isolation.
• Support PA, Voice Evac, and electroacoustic system design.
• Review acoustic data, drawings, equipment information, and submittals.
• Prepare acoustic specifications, calculations, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate acoustic requirements with multidisciplinary teams and meet schedules and budgets.
