Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Bogotá seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to provide expert scientific guidance and non-promotional exchanges with national and regional Scientific Leaders and Key Decision Makers.

You will support HTA activities, formulary decisions, and congress engagements while delivering scientific insights. The role requires 3+ years in MSL/CR/MA or Pharmacovigilance, an MD/PharmD/PhD, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent terminal degree in Life Sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years as an MSL or in Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, or Pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO.
• Experience in Vaccines, Cardiovascular/Atherosclerosis, or Immunology preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical trial methodologies, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Scientific Exchange: develop and maintain non-promotional relationships with national/regional Scientific Leaders and respond to requests for medical information.
• Scientific Congress Support: participate in congress strategy and post-event summaries; staff exhibits as applicable.
• Scientific Insights: gather data and insights to understand needs, barriers, and priorities of healthcare practitioners and patients.
