Job summary

MSD in Bogotá seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to lead non-promotional, peer-to-peer scientific exchange with Scientific Leaders and Key Decision Makers. This field-based partner will provide balanced medical information aligned with AOIs and support HTA and formulary decisions.

The role focuses on scientific insights, congress support, and leadership in an inclusive culture, with travel across local and international sites. Requires MD/PharmD/PhD and 3+ years in medical affairs.

Qualifications

• Education: Medical Doctor (MD), PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal degree in Life Sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an MSL or in Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, or Pharmacovigilance in the Pharmaceutical Industry or a CRO.
• Therapeutic expertise in vaccines, cardiovascular/atherosclerosis, or immunology preferred.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Based in Bogotá, Colombia with availability to travel over 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Scientific exchange with national and regional Scientific Leaders and KDMs.
• Provide medical/scientific information to support HTA and formulary decisions.
• Represent Medical Affairs at conferences and prepare post-event scientific summaries.
• Generate insights from field activities to inform medical strategy.
