Qualifications

The Software Engineer/Application Developer supports business operations by delivering technology solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing business software applications for complex, large-scale initiatives. Key responsibilities include object-oriented design, data modeling, database development, coding, quality assurance, and production support. The Software Engineer also contributes to the evolution of application development standards and promotes best practices in software engineering, architecture, and delivery.

Requirements:

• 2 years in application development
• Must have the knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX; Force.com APIs, Web Services, and Experience in builder
• Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate details and impacts of complex proposed software solutions.
• Proven knowledge in all stages of the software development life cycle.
• Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Hands on experience in the Salesforce development lifecycle including Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment, Unit & Integration Testing, Post Production Support
• Experience with source control systems like Azure DevOps, GIT
• Experience with the creation and maintenance of Salesforce profiles permission sets
• Experience in Salesforce integration with external systems and managed packages
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have:

• DBMS SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MongoDB is a plus
• Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations including multiple instances

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements and objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications in accordance with architectural best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient solution architectures.
• Deliver assigned projects and tasks on time, meeting commitments and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide proactive status updates and maintain clear, professional communication with stakeholders and team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, and communicate project and task progress to the development team, Product Owners, and Product Managers.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies throughout the development process.
• Review, assess, and prioritize user support requests based on business impact and urgency.
• Communicate the status, progress, and resolution of support requests to end users in a timely manner.
