Global Technology Services in LATAM seeks a Mid-Level Backend Java Developer to build and maintain backend services and modern web applications. You will develop Java-based APIs, integrate with enterprise systems, and work with Agile teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in backend development, hands-on Java/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and experience with databases, messaging systems, and authentication methods.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable enterprise applications and integration solutions. In this role, you will build and maintain both backend services and modern web applications, working across the full technology stack.

You will develop robust Java-based APIs and backend services. The ideal candidate has experience building backend applications, integrating with enterprise systems, and collaborating within Agile development teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.

• Intermediate experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Experience developing enterprise applications or system-to-system integrations.

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Exposure to NoSQL databases.

• Experience working with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies.

• Experience using Redis for caching and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Understanding of modern authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 or OpenID
