Abbott Laboratories busca un MSL para su división Established Pharmaceuticals en Bogotá, Colombia. Se trabajará con líderes de opinión, hospitales y equipos de Market Access para impulsar el conocimiento científico y el acceso a productos, brindando información clínica actualizada y soporte técnico.

Formación

• Título en salud, preferentemente medicina, farmacia, nutrición, biomedicina o enfermería.
• Inglés avanzado.
• 3–5 años de experiencia como MSL.
• Habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales.
• Disposición para viajar.

Responsabilidades

• Crear y ejecutar un plan médico y científico para especialistas y líderes de opinión.
• Difundir información clínica y técnica actualizada.
• Proporcionar soporte científico para acceso a productos y áreas terapéuticas.
• Colaborar con equipos internos (Market Access, Ventas) para alinear estrategias.

The Opportunity

This position works out of our Bogotá, location in the Established Pharmaceuticals division. We are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.

What You’ll Do

• Create and execute a short and long-term medical and scientific support plan, based on understanding unmet needs of the key opinion leaders and the competitive landscape.
• Disseminate clinical and scientific information, with the medical panel previously established.
• Provide scientific and technical support to ensure access to updated information on products and areas of therapeutic interest.
• Propose relationship actions with HCPs to the medical team.
• Support the medical team in Continuing Medical Education events with doctors and/or HCP´s, through the implementation of medical education events, proactively developing relationships with doctors and scientific opinion leaders;
• Ensure one strong medical and scientific presence for EPD in key academic centers by facilitation of research initiatives.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other in-field members (Market Access, Sales) while retaining functional independence.
• Contribute with insights captured during visits to doctors and opinion leaders.
• Participate in meetings and congresses of relevant scientific societies and develop summaries of the main messages for use by Abbott.
• Contribute to the training of other employees.
• Support the construction of patient and physician journeys.
• Participation in meetings with KOLs.
• Insert relevant KPIs and reports into Abbott systems.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in health, preferably medicine, pharmacy, nutrition, biomedicine, and nursing.
• Advanced English.
• 3-5 years of experience as MSL Organization and planning.
• Good interpersonal skills, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced ability to make scientific presentations.
• Ability to observe and respect aspects of confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Intermediate / advanced computer skills.
• Availability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSC and/or Ph.D. will be differentials.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to healthcare.
• Ability to capture, analyze, and implement medical and market insights for strategic decision-making.
• Familiarity with digital tools and data analytics platforms (e.g., dashboards, big data, machine learning).
• Ability to interpret scientific evidence and generate medical content aligned with international standards.
• Focus on innovation and strategic thinking to drive patient-centered solutions.
