Abbott, líder global en salud, busca un MSL para un puesto en Bogotá dentro de la división Established Pharmaceuticals. Se centrará en planes médicos y científicos, diseminar información y apoyar la formación continua de equipos.

Formación

• Experiencia como MSL (3–5 años) en la industria.
• Nivel avanzado de inglés.
• Capacidad para planificar y organizar actividades científicas.
• Habilidades para presentar información médica de forma clara.
• Capacidad para mantener confidencialidad y ética profesional.
• Conocimientos de herramientas informáticas y análisis de datos.
• Disposición para viajar.
• Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinarios.

Responsabilidades

• Crear y ejecutar planes médicos y científicos a corto y largo plazo.
• Diseminar información clínica y científica a paneles médicos.
• Proporcionar soporte científico para acceso a información sobre productos.
• Proponer acciones de relación con profesionales de salud.
• Apoyar eventos de educación médica continua.
• Promover presencia científica en centros académicos clave.
• Trabajar de forma colaborativa con Market Access y Ventas.
• Contribuir con insights de visitas a médicos y líderes de opinión.
• Participar en reuniones y congresos médicos.

This position works out of our Bogotá, location in the Established Pharmaceuticals division.

What You’ll Do

• Create and execute a short and long-term medical and scientific support plan, based on understanding unmet needs of the key opinion leaders and the competitive landscape.
• Disseminate clinical and scientific information, with the medical panel previously established.
• Provide scientific and technical support to ensure access to updated information on products and areas of therapeutic interest.
• Propose relationship actions with HCPs to the medical team.
• Support the medical team in Continuing Medical Education events with doctors and/or HCP´s, through the implementation of medical education events, proactively developing relationships with doctors and scientific opinion leaders;
• Ensure one strong medical and scientific presence for EPD in key academic centers by facilitation of research initiatives.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other in-field members (Market Access, Sales) while retaining functional independence.
• Contribute with insights captured during visits to doctors and opinion leaders.
• Participate in meetings and congresses of relevant scientific societies and develop summaries of the main messages for use by Abbott.
• Contribute to the training of other employees.
• Support the construction of patient and physician journeys.
• Participation in meetings with KOLs.
• Insert relevant KPIs and reports into Abbott systems.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in health, preferably medicine, pharmacy, nutrition, biomedicine, and nursing.
• Advanced English.
• 3-5 years of experience as MSL
• Organization and planning
• Good interpersonal skills, communication, and collaboration skills
• Advanced ability to make scientific presentations
• Ability to observe and respect aspects of confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Intermediate / advanced computer skills.
• Availability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• MSC and/or Ph.D. will be differentials.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to healthcare.
• Ability to capture, analyze, and implement medical and market insights for strategic decision-making.
• Familiarity with digital tools and data analytics platforms (e.g., dashboards, big data, machine learning).
• Ability to interpret scientific evidence and generate medical content aligned with international standards.
• Focus on innovation and strategic thinking to drive patient-centered solutions.
