Deckard Technologies in Medellín, Colombia is hiring a Data Engineer to monitor database health, manage end-to-end data pipelines, and build scalable analytics tools within Snowflake and Sigma Computing.

You will collaborate with Implementation, Data, and Client Experience teams to ensure data integrity, deliver BI assets, and enable self-service reporting for clients, while upholding data governance and security.

Formación

• 2–4 years of hands-on data engineering, data analysis, BI development, or monitoring in production.
• Strong SQL with complex queries across cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Redshift).
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data lineage, and data modeling for BI readiness.
• Bilingual English and Spanish with ability to collaborate with US/Australia teams.
• Commitment to data governance and secure handling of sensitive data.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor database health and oversee end-to-end data pipelines and ingestion.
• Design, build, and maintain Sigma dashboards and internal/external reporting tools.
• Write efficient SQL, develop data models, and transformation scripts for BI consumption.
• Troubleshoot pipelines, detect anomalies, and resolve data integrity issues.
• Collaborate with Implementation, Program Management, and Data teams on client data workstreams.
• Document data dictionaries, metric logic, and reporting standards for scalability.
