Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Pod Lead for Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (Terminal Bench Science) in a remote contract role. The position starts immediately and pays $15-$20/hr. You will mentor a pod of technical trainers and oversee engineering tasks for accuracy and quality.

The role requires Ph.D. or postdoctoral experience in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, strong programming skills, and hands-on experience with FEA/CFD and propulsion modeling.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in FEA, CFD, dynamics, or propulsion modeling
• Strong understanding of engineering simulation and numerical methods
• Experience reviewing complex technical work and engineering simulations
• Excellent written communication skills for providing precise feedback
• Experience mentoring or leading small technical teams
