Zimmer Biomet is seeking a skilled supply chain professional to oversee direct material planning and ensure production readiness. You will coordinate with operations, suppliers, and the sourcing team to maintain material availability and control costs.

Responsibilities include analyzing demand trends, scheduling material supply, communicating shortages, and driving continuous improvement in delivery processes and inventory accuracy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory and supplier coordination.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain processes.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes demand trends to support current and future production plans using MRP signals.
• Schedules the supply of direct materials to meet production needs and safety stock targets.
• Communicates material shortages and updates supply plans with follow-up actions.
• Liaises with suppliers on volumes, capacity and availability.
• Reconciles non-conformances and re-plans material requirements.
• Escalates supplier capacity issues to sourcing and commodity teams.
• Develops and evaluates processes for material delivery from supplier to use point.
• Implements processes to standards, supports cost variance reduction and improvements.
• Monitors inventories against targets and validates accuracy.
• Minimizes obsolete stock and reduces liability.

Operations

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyzes requirements trends to support current and future production plans from operations planning. Generate and action direct materials needs utilizing and interpreting messages from the material requirements plan (MRP)
• Schedules the supply of direct materials and components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels at Zimmer Biomet
• Communicates raw materials shortages, update supply plans and execute on follow up actions, as necessary
• Communicates with suppliers regarding future planned volumes, capacity, and capacity availability.
• Reconciles supply non-conformances, return of product, and re-planning of material needs
• Escalates supplier capacity related issues and overall performance issues to sourcing team / commodity management
• Develops, implements and evaluates processes for material delivery from supplier to point of use
• Implements all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement; includes setting of standard costs, and monitoring and resolving purchase price variance drivers
• Monitors inventory levels against target levels
• Supports inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy
• Minimizes obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability

Your Background

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications And Experience

• BS or BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or other related field
• 5 or more years of experience in supply chain, project management, planning, or IT systems, strongly preferred to have experience in all areas
• Experience with medical devices preferred
• Experience with one or more ERP system preferred
• CPSM certification (Preferred)
• Communication skills: High proficiency in English (verbal and written)
