Descripción del empleo

Stori is a Mexican fintech offering digital financial services , credit cards, deposit accounts, and personal loans , with a mission to free users from financial stress and drive financial inclusion across LATAM.

The Marketing team is expanding its scope to unify three disciplines under one operational umbrella: CRM (lifecycle communications and channel execution), Product Marketing (go-to-market strategy and feature adoption), and Brand (positioning, creative standards, and awareness). This role sits at the intersection of all three. The Marketing Strategy & Operations Analyst is the data and operational backbone of the Marketing area. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who thinks in SQL, thrives on turning raw data into decisions, and can simultaneously run the analytical infrastructure, support strategic planning, and keep the back office of a fast-growing marketing function running cleanly.

The ideal candidate has previously worked as a Business Analyst in a tech or fintech environment, is deeply comfortable with Redshift or a similar cloud data warehouse, understands how CRM platforms like Braze connect to downstream analytics, and actively uses AI tools as a daily force multiplier, both for personal productivity and to design and automate workflows.

Must-Haves
  • Advanced SQL (non-negotiable): You write complex queries comfortably — window functions, CTEs, multi-table joins, date arithmetic, conditional aggregations. You don't need to look up syntax for common patterns. Experience with Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, or a similar cloud data warehouse is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a tech, fintech, or digital-native company where data was central to decision-making.
  • Experience translating business questions into data queries not just executing queries but knowing what to ask and why.
  • Active AI user: you incorporate AI tools into your daily workflow for productivity and analysis. You can articulate how, when, and why you use them.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet analysis (Google Sheets or Excel): pivot tables, SUMIFS, dynamic ranges, dashboarding.
  • Strong written communication: you can explain a complex data finding to a non-technical audience clearly and concisely.
  • Operational rigor: you keep things organized, documented, and running reliably — not just delivered once.
  • Fluency in Spanish and professional-level English.
  • Budget Management experience
Strong Plusses
  • Hands-on experience with Braze or another enterprise CRM/marketing automation platform.
  • Experience with Amplitude or similar product analytics tools.
  • Exposure to A/B testing methodology , sample sizing, statistical significance, experiment design.
  • Familiarity with QuickSight, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools for dashboard creation.
  • Experience building n8n, Zapier, or Make automations that include AI/LLM steps (not just trigger-action chains).
  • Background in fintech, financial services, or a similarly regulated and data-rich industry.
  • Experience working alongside data engineering or analytics engineering teams (dbt, Airflow, Redshift pipelines).
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering or LLM integration in data or operational workflows.
1 Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Own Marketing KPIs end-to-end: Define, instrument, monitor, and act on the key metrics across CRM (Open Rate, CTOR, channel CAPs, abort rates), Product Marketing (feature adoption rates, go-to-market conversion), and Brand (awareness and engagement benchmarks).
  • Build and maintain Redshift queries for all recurring reporting, campaign performance, budget tracking, governance model compliance, segmentation analysis, and user-level attribution. SQL proficiency at this level means not just writing queries but architecting them for reuse and handoff.
  • Connect raw Braze and Redshift data into QuickSight dashboards and structured spreadsheet reports that the broader team can consume without SQL knowledge.
  • Design and run A/B testing analysis with statistical rigor, sample sizing, significance testing, confidence intervals, and actionable insight generation. Document learnings into the team's knowledge base.
  • Support campaign ROI modeling: build and maintain a cost-per-send framework across all channels (Push, Email, WhatsApp, SMS, In-App) and translate send volumes into budget estimates and actuals.
  • Expand data coverage to Product Marketing and Brand: Identify the right metrics for go-to-market campaigns and brand initiatives; build the measurement framework from scratch where it doesn't yet exist.
  • Partner with Data Engineering (DAE): Act as the business-side counterpart to the DAE team to define new Braze CDI attributes, events, and Redshift models that the Marketing area needs.
  • Apply AI-assisted analytics: Use AI tools (LLMs, co-pilots, AI-native BI features) to accelerate query drafting, insight summarization, anomaly detection, and exploratory analysis, and help the team build this capability over time.
2 Operational Excellence & Process Automation
  • Document and standardize Marketing processes across CRM, Product Marketing, and Brand: workflow maps, standard operating procedures, taxonomy governance, campaign naming conventions.
  • Identify and eliminate manual work: audit existing workflows for automation opportunities; build n8n automations and Braze-native automations to remove repetitive tasks.
  • Monitor the operational health of the channel stack: track event and attribute pipelines, flag data quality issues, and elevate to DAE proactively.
  • Budget management for the full Marketing area: forecast, track, and report spend across Braze credits, WhatsApp (GupShup), SMS (Voices), and all other vendor costs. Load and reconcile invoices in Coupa.
  • Vendor management: maintain relationships with existing providers (Braze, GupShup, Voices, Monday, etc.); support contract renewals, cost optimization reviews, and new vendor onboarding.
  • Manage team tooling and access: coordinate platform access requests (Braze, Redshift, QuickSight, Amplitude), track license costs, and ensure every team member has the access they need.
  • Support course and certification administration assigned to the Marketing area.
3 Strategic Support
  • OKR tracking and governance: maintain the Marketing area's OKR tracking file, expand it to cover Product Marketing and Brand, and present results in business reviews.
  • Root-cause analysis: when a KPI misses target, you go deep, isolating the driver, segmenting the data, and presenting a structured hypothesis with supporting evidence.
  • Support go-to-market planning for new product launches and feature releases: define success metrics, build measurement plans, and track post-launch performance.
  • Competitive and benchmark intelligence: periodically review how peer fintechs operate their CRM and marketing analytics functions and surface recommendations for Stori.
  • Executive-ready outputs: produce well-structured data narratives (slides, memos, or structured documents) that can be presented to senior stakeholders like the CEO or CGO
4 Governance & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Administer the CRM Governance Model: monitor compliance, track abort rates by cap type, report on governance metrics monthly, and recommend cap adjustments based on data.
  • Braze workspace governance: in coordination with the Braze governance manager, maintain the cleanliness of the Braze 360 workspace — profile hygiene, event/attribute taxonomy, permission structures.
  • Cross-functional coordination: work with DAE, Business Analytics, Finance, and Collections to ensure Marketing data flows are accurate, shared correctly, and used consistently.
  • Manage the taxonomy framework across all Marketing areas, campaign naming, type classification (BAU, Ad-Hoc, Lifecycle), and channel taxonomy, and enforce adoption across the team.
  • Support transformational projects such as workspace migrations, new platform integrations, and AI-powered workflow expansions.
