Job summary

Wow Remote Teams is seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support digital marketing initiatives across social media, email campaigns, WordPress updates, and content creation. You’ll collaborate with designers, research trends, and help optimize content for multiple platforms while learning new tools.

This full-time, 100% remote role pays in USD and offers exposure to a collaborative international team, with opportunities to develop across multiple marketing areas.

Qualifications

• Studies or degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
• Experience using Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with email marketing tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and website content management is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools to support research, copywriting, or marketing workflows is a plus.
• Previous experience working remotely or supporting a U.S.-based team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
• Research social media trends, competitors, industry topics, and creative content ideas to identify marketing opportunities.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, newsletters, lists, and execution.
• Make basic website updates in WordPress, including editing text and updating pages.
• Write and edit marketing copy for social media, emails, blogs, and website pages.
• Collaborate with designers and video editors to develop engaging visual content.
• Support creation and organization of marketing materials, calendars, presentations, and assets.
• Assist with blog publishing, SEO tasks, and content optimization.
• Research new marketing tools, AI solutions, and processes to improve productivity.

Wow Remote Teams is looking for a proactive, creative, and resourceful Marketing Assistant to support a variety of digital marketing initiatives.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys marketing, stays curious about new trends and tools, and is comfortable wearing different hats. From social media and email campaigns to website updates and content creation, this role offers the opportunity to get involved in different areas of marketing.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership, brings fresh ideas, and knows how to figure things out. You don't need to know everything, but you should be willing to research, learn, and find solutions independently rather than waiting for step-by-step instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Research social media trends, competitors, industry topics, and creative content ideas to identify new marketing opportunities.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, preparing newsletters, organizing email lists, and supporting campaign execution.
• Make basic website updates in WordPress, including editing text, uploading images, formatting blog posts, and updating page content.
• Write and edit marketing copy for social media, emails, blogs, website pages, and other promotional materials.
• Collaborate with designers and video editors to develop engaging visual and video content.
• Support the creation and organization of marketing materials, content calendars, presentations, and campaign assets.
• Assist with blog publishing, SEO-related tasks, and content optimization.
• Research new marketing tools, AI solutions, and processes that could improve the team's productivity.
• Help track marketing activities and gather basic performance data when needed.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and suggest new ideas or solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, manage priorities, and follow through without constant supervision.
• Provide general support across different marketing initiatives as team priorities evolve.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a marketing assistant, marketing coordinator, or similar digital marketing role.
• Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Basic experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign execution.
• Good copywriting skills and the ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
• Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant trends and ideas.
• Highly proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable learning new tools and figuring out unfamiliar tasks.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and genuine willingness to support the team.
