Mastercard in Bogotá is seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect to design and support the deployment of Mastercard Agent Suite solutions within client environments. You will work directly with clients to understand objectives, translate constraints into architectures, and guide delivery with cross-functional teams.

Overview-Mastercard Agent Suite is Mastercard's global platform for building, testing, and deploying agentic AI across enterprise operations, enabling clients to integrate Mastercard’s payments expertise, proprietary technology, and insights directly into their environments.

Solutions Integration is the team responsible for turning that vision into production reality. We partner with clients, system integrators, and Mastercard product teams to design and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions that are secure, scalable, auditable, and aligned with business outcomes.

As Agent Suite Services continues to evolve, we are building the implementation patterns, delivery methodologies, and architectural standards that will define enterprise adoption of agentic AI at scale.

The Role

As a Solutions Architect, you are a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing and supporting the deployment of Agent Suite solutions within client environments.

You work directly with clients to understand business objectives, evaluate technical constraints, propose architectures, and translate requirements into actionable implementation plans. You remain actively engaged throughout the lifecycle of an engagement, partnering with delivery teams and system integrators to ensure the architecture is executed as intended.

You will operate as part of a POD alongside a Technical Program Manager (TPM).

The Solutions Architect owns technical solutioning, architecture design, integration strategy, and technical risk management. The TPM owns engagement governance, delivery coordination, commercial alignment, and SOW execution.

What You Will Do

Architect and Deliver

• Design and deploy agentic AI architectures that integrate Mastercard capabilities within client environments across cloud, data, and application ecosystems
• Collaborate with clients to translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and operationally viable technical solutions
• Produce architecture artifacts, integration designs, and implementation plans that can be executed by internal teams and system integration partners
• Support architecture reviews and design validation sessions with client stakeholders and Mastercard product teams
• Ensure solutions are built with appropriate observability, security, governance controls, and operational guardrails
• Participate in deployment planning, solution testing, and production readiness activities
• Evaluate, prototype, and validate emerging agentic AI frameworks, orchestration capabilities, foundation models, and deployment patterns to determine their applicability within Mastercard and client environments
• Not just built proof-of-concepts and technical experiments that accelerate solution design, reduce implementation risk, and establish reusable architectural patterns, but has the ability to deploy solutions which could scale.
• Maintain hands-on technical proficiency through continuous experimentation with evolving AI technologies, tools, and frameworks, bringing practical recommendations to client engagements and internal teams

Client Engagement

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout client engagements
• Facilitate technical workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture reviews with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
• Help clients understand the technical and business implications of architectural choices
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges early in the engagement lifecycle
• Support client innovation discussions by bringing relevant industry trends, deployment patterns, and technology insights into solution conversations

Collaborate and Improve

• Partner closely with TPMs, Product, Engineering, Operations, GTM, and Partner teams to ensure successful outcomes
• Contribute to reusable architectural patterns, implementation playbooks, accelerators, and best practices
• Share deployment learnings and field insights to improve Agent Suite products and services
• Participate in peer reviews and technical knowledge sharing across the Solutions Integration organization

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, enterprise integration, or customer-facing engineering roles
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise software solutions across complex technology landscapes
• Hands-on experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as ERP, treasury, CRM, core banking, or data management systems
• Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native systems
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP); exposure to multiple cloud environments is advantageous
• Familiarity with AI, generative AI, and agentic AI deployment concepts, frameworks, and orchestration patterns
• Ability to create architecture documentation, integration specifications, technical implementation plans, and deployment guides
• Professional fluency in English

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience delivering solutions within financial services, payments, banking, or fintech environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable agentic AI frameworks and platforms
• Experience with Mastercard products, APIs, open banking standards, or ISO 20022 messaging
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, risk, privacy, and regulatory considerations
• Experience working with system integrators and large-scale enterprise transformation programs
• Certifications in cloud architecture, solution architecture, AI engineering, or machine learning technologies
• A complementary area of expertise such as security architecture, AI governance, data architecture, conversational AI, knowledge systems, financial services technology, or regulatory technology
