ScotiaGBS is seeking a Manager for GBS GWO Static Data in Bogotá to lead a shift-based team and ensure accurate data across GBM systems. You will drive a customer-focused culture, manage staffing, and uphold control standards in data maintenance and regulatory reporting.

Your background in Capital Markets or Financial Services, plus strong Excel skills and leadership, will help you coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office to maintain smooth trade flow.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, administrative or related fields.
• Experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Services.
• Proven experience leading teams in a shift-based or operations environment, including performance management, coaching, workload prioritization, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong negotiation and strategic influencing skills.
• Very good analytical & problem solving skills and sound judgment needed to critically examine reconciliations, their operations & processes.

Responsabilidades

• Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Leads and develops the GBS GWO Static Data team across shift-based coverage by setting priorities, monitoring performance, and ensuring effective staffing, coaching, and accountability.
• Oversees SSI setup, security setup, regulatory reporting support, counterparty mapping, and static data maintenance across GBM systems, while maintaining a strong control environment through approvals, exception management, reconciliations, audit trails, and timely remediation of control gaps.
• Acts as shift lead for out-of-hours operations when required, ensuring start-of-shift readiness, end-of-shift handovers, escalation management, and effective coordination with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Technology, and other stakeholders to support trade flow and issue resolution..
• Global support for static data services across GBM systems and downstream processes

• Experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Services
• Proven experience leading teams in a shift-based or operations environment, including performance management, coaching, workload prioritization, and stakeholder coordination
• Excellent communication skills, with strong negotiation and strategic influencing skills.
• Very good analytical & problem solving skills and sound judgment needed to critically examine reconciliations, their operations & processes including in depth knowledge of the settlement department processes and inputs from up and downstream systems.
