Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking a Machining Support Operator at its Monfalcone site to support machining operations by handling, positioning and moving components for machine tools.

You will report to the Metal Works Manager and collaborate with a manufacturing team in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or Machine Operator.
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).

• Load, unload, position, and align components on machine tools.
• Perform deburring and edge-breaking activities.
• Protect components from damage, deformation, or deterioration.
• Ensure traceability information are correctly applied.
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

About the role:

The primary function for the Machining Support Operator is to support machining operations by handling, positioning, and moving components for machine tools.

• Load, unload, position, and align components on machine tools;

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base annual salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be €29.100 to €37.000.
