SoftServe Robotics Group is seeking a Lead Robotics Validation Engineer to define, design, and execute comprehensive validation frameworks for advanced robotic systems spanning hardware, software, and cloud integration. You will lead end-to-end testing and validation across mobile robots, robotic arms, and drones.

Formación

• A degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software testing and QA methodologies for embedded and robotic systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS/ROS2.
• Familiarity with SLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, and sensor fusion.
• Knowledge of cloud integration and CI/CD practices.

• Build and validate rapid prototypes as well as production-ready robotics solutions.
• Test robotics systems both in simulation and real-world environments.

About The Role

The Robotics Operation and Integration team is a part of the SoftServe Robotics Group and specializes in developing and smoothly integrating robotic systems on edge devices as well as in the сloud. We are looking for a Lead Robotics Validation Engineer to define, design, and execute comprehensive validation frameworks for advanced robotic systems that span hardware, software, and cloud integration. You will lead the end-to-end testing and validation lifecycle — ensuring performance, reliability, and safety across robotic platforms such as mobile robots, robotic arms, and drones.

Requirements

• A degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of robotics principles, control systems, and algorithms
• Experience in software testing and QA methodologies for embedded and robotic systems
• Programming expertise in C++, Python, and ROS / ROS2
• Skill in robotics simulation tools (IsaacSim, Gazebo, Webots, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of SLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, and sensor fusion (LiDAR, IMU, Visual, Odometry, Radar, GPS, etc)
• A mindset of being detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving
• Background of collaborating across hardware, software, and cloud domains
• Experience with hardware validation tools (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, etc.)
• Familiarity with HIL/SIL testing frameworks and cloud-based robotics management systems
• Understanding of containerized and distributed simulation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Working knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools (Grafana, PlotJuggler, or custom dashboards)
