Pikes Peak Post Acute in Bogotá, Colombia, seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and develop treatment plans accordingly. The role includes supervising CFY/Speech Clinical Fellows, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring documentation meets payer requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Masters/Doctorate preferred) and is proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care, maintaining licensure

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathologist Therapy.
• Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Therapy preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of referral.
• Develop effective treatment plan and obtain approval from referring physician.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Supervise CFY/Speech Clinical Fellows and assist nursing with training.
• Record evaluations, treatment notes, and progress per policy and payer requirements.
• Instruct families and nursing staff in discharge preparation and caregiver training.
• Participate in discharge planning and related conferences as needed.
• Comply with state practice act and facility policies.
