EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Java Developer to join the Assurance Agent team, delivering an AI-enabled platform for automated vulnerability detection and remediation. You will design backend services and AI agent components, collaborating with React and Python ADK engineers to deliver end-to-end capabilities.

The role emphasizes spec-driven development, independent work across distributed teams, and being a technical lead in architectural decisions. English proficiency at C1 level is required.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on AI agent development experience with orchestration and error handling.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as ADK or LangGraph.
• Spec-driven / documentation-first development practices.
• Ability to operate independently across distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build backend services and AI agent components for automated vulnerability detection and remediation workflows.
• Create, configure, and compose AI agents defining skills, tools, and orchestration patterns.
• Collaborate with React and Python ADK engineers to ship end-to-end agent capabilities.
• Apply spec-driven development practices with traceability to specs.
• Lead technically by code reviews, mentoring, and architectural input with the Anchor/SA.
