United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia (UNVMC) seeks an Information Systems Officer to plan, direct, and oversee major information systems across the mission. You will manage system analysis, design, development, testing and implementation, while maintaining existing platforms and enforcing IT standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff supervision, procurement tech specs, training materials, and disaster recovery planning.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; ITIL Foundation is mandatory.
• PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner desirable; cloud certs preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and international field operations is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, and oversee major information systems across the mission.
• Develop specifications for procurement and evaluate offers.
• Lead budget formulation, allocations, and expenditure control.
• Provide user support, translate requirements into applications, and manage integration.
• Develop training materials and disaster recovery plans; supervise IT staff.
• Oversee internet-working, backup/recovery procedures, and vendor contracts.
