NAFFCO Careers in Bogotá seeks a senior Lead Design & Estimation Engineer (Fire Fighting Systems) to oversee engineering and estimation for fire protection projects in Colombia. You will manage multiple projects, drive engineering strategy, and ensure technical excellence and commercial competitiveness.

Responsibilities include reviewing complex calculations, leading tender strategy, and coordinating procurement and approvals with authorities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or fire protection engineering or equivalent.
• 10-15+ years in fire protection engineering and estimation.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership or managerial capacity.
• Experience leading multi-project engineering operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complete fire protection engineering operations across multiple projects.
• Review and approve hydraulic calculations and fire pump designs.
• Ensure compliance with international and local standards.
• Drive cost optimization and value engineering for profitability.
• Mentor team leaders and engineers for succession development.
• Interface with consultants, clients, contractors, and authorities.
