EPAM Systems in Colombia seeks a Lead DevOps Cloud Engineer to balance reliability with rapid delivery. You will design Azure-based pipelines, implement IaC with ARM templates, and lead automation and security efforts across teams.

You will guide a multidisciplinary DevOps team, ensure cost-aware and secure delivery, and mentor engineers while advancing incident response and runbook documentation.

Formación

• 5+ years DevOps and cloud engineering on Microsoft Azure.
• 5+ years Azure DevOps with automated deployments using Pipelines and Repos.
• Lead-level leadership to guide a multidisciplinary DevOps team.
• Strong IaC using ARM templates and ongoing IaC maintenance.
• Strong Azure networking knowledge (subnets, DNS, NSGs, ExpressRoute).
• Strong scripting and automation using PowerShell and YAML.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2).

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Cloud Engineer to balance service reliability with delivery speed by designing automated cloud platform capabilities on Microsoft Azure. You will lead build-and-release automation, infrastructure delivery, and operational excellence while partnering with teams to improve security and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based delivery pipelines that improve reliability and delivery speed
• Build and deploy cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code with Azure Resource Manager
• Develop and maintain automation using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Repos
• Operate and monitor services using cloud-native tooling such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Manage and improve incident response practices using SRE principles to reduce toil and increase automation
• Implement network platform operations tasks aligned with Azure networking standards
• Ensure security controls and secure onboarding practices for teams using your environment
• Support internal teams with troubleshooting, onboarding, and best practices adoption
• Optimize solutions with cost and security considerations throughout delivery
• Create and update clear operational documentation and product descriptions in the team wiki

Requirements

• 5+ years DevOps and cloud engineering experience on Microsoft Azure
• 5+ years Azure DevOps experience with automated deployments using Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos
• Lead-level leadership skills to guide a multidisciplinary DevOps team across development and operations
• Strong project ownership skills to drive delivery while balancing reliability, security, and cost
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills using Azure Resource Manager templates and ongoing IaC maintenance
• Strong Azure networking knowledge including IP subnetting, routing, DNS, load balancing, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and YAML
• Strong operations skills using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and security monitoring tools
• Strong documentation skills to create and maintain product and operational runbooks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong collaboration skills with a team-player mindset and constructive feedback habits
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with focus on learning from incidents and raising resilience
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency

• .NET API development and integration experience
• Agile delivery experience in cross-functional teams
• Azure databases experience across managed database services
