ScotiaTech seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and lakehouse solutions on Azure and Azure Databricks for international banking. You will act as hands-on technical lead and own end-to-end solution design, documentation, and production-grade code.

You will mentor a team of Data Engineers, lead design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into data products aligned with global goals.

Formación

• 2+ years in data engineering with 3+ years delivering production data solutions on Azure
• Experience as a technical lead supervising data engineers
• Expertise in designing pipelines with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Spark
• English level B2

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end design, code reviews, and production-grade implementation
• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of Data Engineers
• Provide effort estimates, risks, and dependencies for delivery planning
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Owners, Architecture, and Platform Engineering
