Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Lead AI Engineer (Python) to guide the technical direction of AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design production-grade applications using advanced retrieval and modeling architectures.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AI/Software Engineering, strong Python skills, and proven experience deploying LLM APIs in production. This is a 100% remote role with competitive USD compensation and flexible working hours.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Software or AI Engineering.
Experience with building and optimizing RAG systems with vector stores and embedding pipelines.
Strong Python skills and API development with FastAPI, Pydantic, and async SQLAlchemy.
Hands-on experience deploying LLM APIs in production and applying MLOps practices.
Experience mentoring teams and aligning with stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of scalable AI systems and data retrieval pipelines.
Build robust APIs to expose AI capabilities to enterprise apps.
Establish best practices for deploying and monitoring intelligent services in production.
Mentor engineers and align technical strategies with business goals.
