NielsenIQ in Colombia seeks a Manager, LATAM Tax to lead direct and indirect tax compliance across LATAM. You will oversee tax analysts, manage the regional calendar, and act as main contact for internal stakeholders, external advisers, and tax authorities.

This role blends people leadership with technical tax oversight in a multinational environment, with focus on ASC 740, tax provisioning, audits, and process improvements across LATAM.

Qualifikationen

• 6-9+ years of direct and/or indirect tax experience in a global or multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of LATAM tax laws and accounting standards.
• Experience with ASC 740 and tax provisioning.
• Experience mentoring analysts or leading workstreams.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and tax tech is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Review and approve CIT and VAT returns and tax filings for LATAM.
• Own tax provision processes and reconcile current and deferred tax.
• Maintain tax accounts and ensure proper documentation and controls.
• Finalize Return-to-Provision templates and reconciliations.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Lead responses to tax audits and inquiries across jurisdictions.
• Coach and develop tax analysts and drive process improvements.
• Identify tax risk and escalate to senior finance leadership as needed.
