The role requires a strong track record in mechanized underground mining, ore processing, and project start-ups, with English proficiency and extensive senior leadership experience in international settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining-related field; postgraduate degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in the mining industry with senior leadership.
• Strong English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead mining operations, ensuring targets, cost control and profitability.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
• Oversee mine planning, processing, maintenance, exploration, and technical services.
• Manage expansion, commissioning, and start-up of mining projects.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
• Lead international, multidisciplinary teams toward operational excellence.
